NLP can be defined as a set of rules and techniques, which can help, modify behavior and help achieve self-improvement, self-management and more effective interpersonal communications. It is based on certain assumptions about how language and movements of eyes and body affect brain functions and was developed by Richard Bandler and John Grinder in the 1970’s.
It is aimed at enhancing the healing process by changing the conscious and subconscious beliefs of clients about themselves. These limiting beliefs are in essence reprogrammed to a more positive state using a variety of processes and techniques.
