Hello and welcome. I’m Karen Johnson and I’m qualified therapist offering hypnotherapy and counselling services based in Milton Keynes. I have trained in a variety of therapeutic practices in my training so I am able to offer a truly unique approach to my work with you. I mainly use talking therapies in my initial approach, and then draw on other therapies I am trained in – these include NLP, CBT, and hypnotherapy to offer a unique service for my clients tailored to their specific needs.

I spent over 27 years in a corporate environment, and faced many of my own personal challenges such as stress/anxiety, lack of confidence and self esteem as a result of workplace bullying. I wanted to find a different approach to help overcome some of the challenges that I faced during this time and it is the main reason why I decided to train as a counsellor and gain qualifications in other therapies so I could offer a truly integrative, unique and personal approach when working with clients. I have used all of the techniques I’ve trained in to help me overcome many of these obstacles and improve my own mental health and well-being and used these techniques to help a number of clients improve their mental wellness and go on to lead more happy and fulfilling lives. I work to a strict code of ethics and am governed by a variety of bodies within my field.
